10 Good Reasons

Janie and Dick Beeler used a gift of real estate to make an impact at The Kinkaid School.
Grandparents Janie and Dick Beeler have 10 good reasons to support The Kinkaid School—their 10 grandchildren who have attended Kinkaid.
"Participation in the life of Kinkaid is for the whole family," says Janie. "Early on, we were offered many joyful opportunities to participate in the life of our children's future. We were invited to attend early pre-K and kindergarten classroom visits, and later to attend honor programs, stage performances and many sporting events."
As a former school teacher, Janie greatly appreciates how the School "starts early in assisting students to recognize the personal preparation necessary for obtaining their desired goals." The couple began supporting Kinkaid when they realized that "children at Kinkaid learn how to learn."
In 1996, along with their good friend Don Sanders, the Beelers donated a local property. The Kinkaid Investments Foundation preserved the property, allowing the asset to greatly appreciate until 2014, when the property was sold. The proceeds of the sale supported the Building Together Campaign, which funded the construction of the Dining and Learning Center and the parking garage.
"Dick and I believe Kinkaid has given our grandchildren a proper beginning in preparing for their futures," Janie says. "We look forward to being in attendance for when our final grandchild graduates with the class of 2026."

Margaret Hunter Kinkaid Society
The Margaret Hunter Kinkaid Society was founded in 1997 to preserve Kinkaid's future. It was established in honor of Kinkaid's founder and first head of school. The Society recognizes and thanks those who have created provisions in their wills or estate plans to benefit Kinkaid and have informed the School of their commitments.
